The nearest beach,at Alleyne's Bay, one of the best in our opinion, is within walking distance, although a car is recommended . All the usual water sports facilities can be found at the beach, including water ski-ing, jet skis, diving, sailing etc. Alleynes Bay is home to the community of Glitter Bay and The Royal Pavillion Hotel along with the World famous, Lone Star Restaurant.

Holetown is just a short drive, or bus ride away, where you will find many bars and restaurants of a good quality along with shopping mall, banking services, international supermarket, and pretty chattel house shops selling local arts and crafts. Speightstown is also just a short drive away, along Highway 1 to the North.
